Each class runs for 30 minutes.

The students are continuously assessed by their instructors and office staff. Every child is unique, learning different skills at different rates. Some may learn side breathing quickly, but may take a while to learn breaststroke etc. Should you ever have any queries or concerns regarding your child’s progression, please feel free to discuss it with the coordinator on duty. 

Yes. It's heated between 32 and 33 degrees Celsius all year round.

Until properly potty trained, yes, your child must wear a swim nappy.

From Blue Starfish to Rainbow Starfish you are required to be in the pool with your child.

Infant to Toddler Levels - Up to eight infants and/or toddlers in the pool with their parents and instructor.

Kinder Levels - Up to four children and one instructor

School Kid Levels - Up to five children and one instructor

This question depends on the child's swimming ability. Most children can start without their parents at the age of 3 or 4, but it really depends on their ability. Maybe they need a little more time, and that's okay.

No, your child does not need to wear rashies or wetsuits, normal swimwear is fine. With the pool between 32 and 33 degrees Celsius, these will make your child colder and will limit their movement in the pool.

Yes. They can help keep hair out of eyes, help goggles slide on effortlessly, and can help keep goggles in place, and untangled. Swim caps can be purchased at our pool, or at a retailer, like sport shops, and BIGW.

Appropriate swimwear is our dress code. Nothing too loose as loose swimwear will cause water drag.

Yes. We are more than happy to offer a free 30 minute trial, as it allows you to see our facility, and it allows us to know what level your child should be in.

We certainly try hard to keep the same teacher every week, but teachers also get sick and like to have holidays! Rest assured that our small but professional team will always ensure that your child is well cared for and has a great lesson.

You are entitled to two make-ups a term. These can be booked up to a week ahead of time, providing we have a free space in a class. Only enrolled students are permitted to use make-ups.
